The Search Engine Academy of Western Canada has announced dates for SEO training in Western Canada during 2009.
- Vancouver BC: March 30 to April 3
- Private In-house Training Session: April 20 to 24
- Calgary AB: September 21 to September 25
- Vancouver BC: October 19 to October 23
The first two days of each training session teach basic search engine optimization and marketing skills including keyword research, content creation, optimization, getting your site found, monitoring your progress and staying out of trouble with the search engines.
The final three days cover advanced concepts and strategies such as advanced keyword research and forensics, personalization of search, latent semantic indexing, using blogs, social media and articles, site analytics and pay per click marketing.
Students can attend the basic or advanced session, or for a comprehensive week of training attend all five days.
